Service Overview
Healthy sleep is essential for a child’s growth, development, and overall well-being. Sleep problems can affect mood, learning, behavior, and physical health.
The Sleep Medicine Department of Hawaiʻi Pacific Health provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for pediatric patients from 4 months to 17 years of age.
Care is available for a wide range of sleep-related disorders, including insomnia, excessive daytime sleepiness, obstructive sleep apnea, heavy snoring, narcolepsy, nightmares, and sleepwalking or sleeptalking.

The Sleep Medicine Department of Hawaiʻi Pacific Health, located at Kapiʻolani Medical Center for Women & Children, is an accredited, full-service sleep center serving the Pacific Basin.
The program provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for infants, children, and adolescents with a wide range of sleep disorders. Services include advanced sleep studies and specialized pediatric evaluations tailored to each child’s needs.
