The Wilcox Emergency Department is staffed 24 hours a day by board-certified physicians and specially trained emergency care teams to treat immediate medical emergencies.

If you have an emergency, call 911.

In a medical emergency, every minute matters.

If you or someone you’re with experiences any life-threatening injuries or symptoms of a medical concern like a stroke or heart attack, call 911 immediately.

Coordinated Emergency Care

With comprehensive safety measures in place at the Wilcox ED, there is no reason to wait to get the care you need.

Advanced communication systems allow our emergency team to coordinate care while patients are on the way to the medical center.

This system also provides a communication link with triage centers on Oʻahu. If necessary, patients with major trauma and head injuries are transferred to Oʻahu via air ambulance.
