Since 1986, the program has paired a clinical research study with a structured medical curriculum: a “life cycle of research” track, “careers in medicine” talks with physicians, and visits to medical facilities and hospitals.

Throughout the eight-week program, students can pursue optional activities – shadowing physicians and observing surgeries – based on their interests. More than 300 students have taken part, and many have gone on to medical and research programs at prestigious institutions nationwide.
