Biography

After serving as a Chief Fellow in Interventional Cardiology and completing his training at Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Rayji Tsutsui joined Straub in 2020. Dr. Tsutsui has special interests that include structural heart (TAVR, MitraClip, ASD/PFO), complex coronary including chronic total occlusions (CTO), carotid and peripheral interventions. He also holds a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and is on the faculty at the John A. Burns School of Medicine at University of Hawaii.

Professional Interests

Complex coronary interventions, structural heart disease interventions (including catheter valve repair and replacement, PFO/ASD closure, left appendage occlusion, and paravalvular leak closure) and carotid/peripheral interventions.

Personal Interests

Dr. Tsutsui enjoys an active lifestyle, including golf, hiking and outdoor camping. He is also a coffee enthusiast.
