Biography
After completing his residency work in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Scoggin went on to complete a fellowship in arthroscopy and sports medicine. His research interests now include prevention and treatment of sports injuries, shoulder arthroscopy, shoulder anatomy, and injury patterns in mixed martial arts, Jiu Jitsu, and other sports. Dr. Scoggin has been actively involved as a team physician or event physician for injury prevention and care for football, soccer, mixed martial arts and triathlons.
