James Edwards attended Georgia State University during which time he was enrolled in aviation flight training to become an airline pilot. As a firefighter and paramedic in the Atlanta Metro area for 15 years, when September 11th occurred he knew it was time for a change. He then decided it was time to continue his medical education and attended the Emory University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program. James enjoys his role as a Physician Assistant because it allows him to meet and experience people of all different cultures and he is passionate about treating and caring for those people.
