Biography
Dr. Christopher Lynch is a pediatric sports medicine physician who is board certified in both sports medicine and general pediatrics. He offers care in the treatment of a broad range of injuries including fractures, ligament and tendon injuries and concussions as well as in sports injury prevention. Dr. Lynch is currently a team physician for The University of Hawaii baseball team and volunteers covering for local high school athletics both on the sideline during football season and throughout the year in several high school athletic training rooms on Oahu. He is also a preceptor for medical students and residents as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Hawai’i John A. Burns School of Medicine. He works alongside other sports medicine physicians, pediatric orthopedic surgeons, physician assistants, athletic trainers and medical staff expertly trained to treat pediatric and adolescent patients to deliver optimal care to active children.
Professional Interests
Overhead/throwing athletes, aquatic athletes, shoulder injuries, upper and lower extremity rehabilitation, sideline coverage, concussion, and musculoskeletal telehealth.
Personal Interests
Dr. Lynch enjoys hiking, swimming, and hanging out at the beach with his wife and two children. At home he loves to cook fish and make poke just like Sam Choy taught him. His favorite sports competition is the NCAA Basketball Tournament.
