Biography
Dr. Alyssa Carnegie was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She attended college and medical school in Philadelphia, where she also completed her residency. She practiced as an attending surgeon and assistant professor of orthopedics at a university hospital in Philadelphia prior to moving to Kauai in 2014. Dr. Carnegie feels deeply honored to be a fellowship-trained orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgeon. She considers it a privilege to provide quality care to the residents of Kauai so that they can remain on island – close to family and friends – to receive this type of highly specialized care for hand, wrist and elbow conditions.
